15-Minute Air Fryer Falafel Patties That Will Delight You

Quick and tasty falafel patties made in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, flour, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.
  3. Process until a coarse mixture forms.
  4. Shape the mixture into patties.
  5. Brush each patty with olive oil.
  6. Place patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Remove and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper.
  • Serve with tahini sauce.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
