- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Warm marinara sauce in a saucepan.
- Toast sub rolls lightly in the air fryer for 2 minutes.
- Place meatballs in rolls, top with marinara and mozzarella.
- Return to air fryer for 2-3 minutes to melt cheese.
- Serve immediately.
