Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel the onion and cut off the top, leaving the root intact.
- Make 12 cuts in the onion, about 1/2 inch apart, to create petals.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip the onion in the buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Spray the onion with cooking spray and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the onion in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes.
- Check for crispiness and cook longer if needed.
- Remove and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
