- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the rum, olive oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, allspice, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are fully coated.
- Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and golden.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less cayenne pepper.
- For extra flavor, marinate the wings in the rum mixture for a few hours before cooking.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
