Ingredients

  • 1 pound cube steak
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Marinate the cube steak in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Remove steak from buttermilk and coat in the flour mixture.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  6. Place the coated steak in the basket in a single layer.
  7. Spray the top of the steak with cooking spray.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. Check for doneness, and cook longer if needed.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
