Ingredients

- 1 pound cube steak
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Marinate the cube steak in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Remove steak from buttermilk and coat in the flour mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the coated steak in the basket in a single layer.
- Spray the top of the steak with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for doneness, and cook longer if needed.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double dip the steak in buttermilk and flour.
- Adjust spices according to your taste.
- Serve with gravy for added flavor.
