- 2 chicken fillets
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Season chicken fillets with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce and mirin with beaten eggs.
- Coat chicken in flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with tonkatsu sauce.
- Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
