Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine water, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in flour and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Add vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  5. Transfer dough to a piping bag and pipe churros onto parchment paper.
  6. Air fry churros for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  8. Coat churros in the sugar mixture.
