Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and butter. Bring to a boil.
  2. Stir in flour and salt until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat.
  3. Allow to cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time.
  4. Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
  5. Pipe churros onto parchment paper in 6-inch strips.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Spray churros with cooking spray.
  8. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  10. Roll churros in cinnamon sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to cool the dough before adding eggs.
  • Adjust cinnamon sugar to taste.
  • Serve with chocolate sauce for dipping.
