Ingredients

- 1 package of empanada dough
- 1 cup of cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup of cheese
- 1/4 cup of diced onions
- 1/4 cup of chopped bell peppers
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix chicken, cheese, onions, bell peppers, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Take a piece of empanada dough and place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
- Fold the dough over and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the empanadas with olive oil.
- Place empanadas in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- You can substitute the chicken with beef or vegetables.
- Serve with salsa or guacamole.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket.
