Air Fryer Falafel Bites: 7 Deliciously Crispy Snacks

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pulse until the mixture is coarse and well combined.
  4. Add flour and mix until the dough holds together.
  5. Form small balls or patties from the mixture.
  6. Brush or spray the falafel bites with olive oil.
  7. Place the falafel bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.

Notes

  • Serve with tahini sauce or yogurt dip.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • Can be frozen before cooking for later use.
