- 2 chicken fillets
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Slice a pocket in each chicken fillet and stuff with mozzarella cheese.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Dip each chicken fillet in the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the chicken in the basket and spray the top with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Heat the marinara sauce in a small pot.
- Once cooked, top the chicken with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese.
- Serve hot.
