- 2 cups dried beans
- 6 cups water
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Instructions
- Rinse and soak the beans overnight.
- Drain the beans and place them in the crockpot.
- Add water, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, cumin, and chili powder.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until beans are tender.
- Serve hot as a side or main dish.

- Adjust spices to your taste.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
