Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Add chickpeas, parsley, cilantro, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt, and pepper to a food processor.
  3. Pulse until a coarse mixture forms.
  4. Form small balls or patties with the mixture.
  5. Brush the falafel with olive oil.
  6. Place falafel in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Remove and serve with your choice of sauce.

Notes

  • Serve with tahini or yogurt sauce.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
