- 1 whole chicken (about 4–5 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub the chicken with olive oil.
- Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, fillet side down.
- Cook for 30 minutes.
- Flip the chicken to fillet side up and cook for an additional 25-30 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
