Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (about 45 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the chicken with olive oil.
  4. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken.
  6. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, fillet side down.
  7. Cook for 30 minutes.
  8. Flip the chicken to fillet side up and cook for an additional 25-30 minutes.
  9. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
  10. Remove the chicken and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
