- 1 cup cake flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 12 egg whites

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sift together cake flour and 3/4 cup sugar.
- In a large bowl, beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form.
- Add cream of tartar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
- Gradually add remaining sugar while mixing.
- Gently fold in the flour mixture and vanilla extract.
- Pour batter into an ungreased tube pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Invert the pan to cool completely before removing the cake.
Notes
- Ensure egg whites are at room temperature for better volume.
- Do not grease the pan to allow the cake to rise properly.
- Serve with fresh berries or whipped cream.
