Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Stir in milk and chocolate chips.
  7. Add red food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  8. Pour batter into greased cake pans.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes
