Instructions

  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  8. Divide the batter into two bowls. Add red food coloring to one and pink to the other.
  9. Pour the batters into the prepared pans and swirl them together slightly.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cakes cool before removing from pans.
  12. Frost with buttercream and add decorative sprinkles.
