- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup frosting
- 8 oz melting chocolate
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
- Bake cake for 30-35 minutes, then let it cool.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
- Add frosting and mix until combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate and place back on the sheet.
- Sprinkle with decorations and let set.
Notes
- Use any flavor of cake mix you prefer.
- Make sure the cake is completely cooled before crumbling.
- For a fun twist, add flavored extracts to the frosting.
