Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  7. Divide the batter into two bowls. Tint one with red food coloring and the other with pink.
  8. Spoon the batters into cupcake liners, swirling them together for a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before frosting with buttercream and adding sprinkles.
