valentines day chocolate: 5 Sweet Steps to Melt Hearts

Delicious homemade chocolate treats for Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup crushed nuts
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a double boiler.
  2. In a separate bowl, heat the heavy cream until it simmers.
  3. Pour the cream over the melted chocolate and stir until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into molds and sprinkle crushed nuts and sprinkles on top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  7. Remove from molds and serve.
