- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with sour cream.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and walnuts for the topping.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased baking pan.
- Sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture over the batter.
- Add the remaining batter and top with the remaining brown sugar mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
- Serve warm with coffee.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
