Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the olive oil all over the chicken.
  4. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  5. Place the lemon halves inside the cavity of the chicken.
  6. If using, add fresh herbs inside the cavity.
  7. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, fillet side down.
  8. Cook for 30 minutes, then flip the chicken fillet side up.
  9. Cook for an additional 30-35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  10. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
