  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the olive oil all over the chicken.
  4. Mix the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Season the chicken with the spice mixture, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  6. Place the lemon halves inside the cavity of the chicken.
  7. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, breast side down.
  8. Cook for 30 minutes, then flip the chicken to breast side up and cook for an additional 25-30 minutes.
  9. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
  10. Let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
